I left the Mt Washington trailhead around 10am Saturday morning, just planning to hike Mt Washington and have a short day hike. After passing a bunch of other hikers I reached the top, and decided to tag a few more peaks. I followed the ridge south of the summit and met up with an old logging road. I followed the road over to Greenway Mountain, bushwhacking up a few peaks on the side (Point 4264, Point 4304, and Point 4320). On Point 4320 I ran into a family of 6 mountain goats. I didn’t know they were that close to Seattle, or that they ventured that low below treeline.

On the way back I hiked over Change Peak, then bushwhacked back down to the Great Wall trail and met back up with the Mt Washington trail. I made it back to the car just at sunset.
