Alpental Falls Ice Climbing

Alpental Falls Ice Climbing

Approaching the climbs

Eric, Tyler, Patrick, Erin

Feb 10, 2019

It was the coldest day of the season so excellent conditions for ice climbing. We left the Alpental parking lot at 8:30am and the temperature was 9F. There were a few good ice routes on Alpental Falls, very close to the parking lot. Tyler and I swung leads up Alpental I (WI3, 2 pitches), then bushwhacked back down. Patrick led up Alpental IV (WI2), and we all got some practice laps on that one before heading home.
