Olympic Peninsula

June 7-9, 2019

Eric and Keith

We left Seattle Friday evening and camped out in Capitol Forest State Park. Saturday we drove to the Hoh rain forest and hiked around admiring the huge trees. We then drove to Cape Flattery to see the northwesternmost point in the lower 48 states, then found a good campground nearby on the beach. Sunday we drove up Hurricane Ridge and got a great view of Mt Olympus. We also hiked up Alpine Hill, Sunrise Point, and Point 5539. That evening we took a ferry back to Seattle.
